BIO Vidya Rae grew up in Wisconsin with an interest in creativity and spirituality. Music was her first love along with her interest in training horses and teaching blind children how to ride. Her love of classical music inspired her to take music lessons learning how to play piano, clarinet and later violin. She became interested in repairing violins while she and her two small children took Suzuki Violin lessons.
Discovery of her talent in painting blossomed at a later age though drawing started in the third grade with self-portraits. Michelle Philip -- owner, artist and teacher of The Classical Art Academy, has been an amazing mentor on her path with different mediums. Renaissance and Pre-Raphaelite artists continue to inspire her.
While devoting much of her life to raising two beautiful children, she also sustained a strong interest to personal and spiritual growth including a career in the healing field. Massage therapy, Reiki, hypnotherapy, and EMDR are a few techniques Vidya has practiced over 25yrs. She continues with a passion to express not only what can be seen, but felt.
